Earlier this month, Apple and Beats officially came together, with each company respectively announcing the merger on their websites. At the time, it was noted that all Beats products would now be sold directly through Apple’s retail stores.
Right now, Apple is having uncharacteristic sale on Beats headphones and speakers, listing all but a handful of products on sale. Right now, you can get the iconic brand over-the-ear headphones, in-ear headphones, or Pill Bluetooth speaker for 10 percent off.
One of the most popular products, “Beats by Dr. Dre Studio” is normally priced at $299.95, but is currently on sale for only $269.95. The most expensive model, “Beats by Dr. Dre Studio x Snarkitecture” is $60 off of the original price.
The company’s in-ear headphones are also on sale with the popular “Beats by Dr. Dre Powerbeats2″ down to $179.95 from $199.95. Even the least expensive model, “urBeats In-Ear Headphones” is $10 off.
The popular Bluetooth speaker, Pill 2.0 and Pill XL are both discounted 10 percent, but the “USB Beatbox Portable Speaker” is not part of the sale. Nor are any of the Beats accessories, including the Beats Remote Talk Cable, or the Pill cases.
While the 10 percent discount doesn’t seem like much of an incentive for those who already think Beats products are overpriced, it stands out as special because Apple does not regularly discount their products.
There is no official information as to how long this discount will last. Visit the Beats by Dr. Dre page on Apple’s website to find out more.
