Yesterday was the first day of spring. For some, it means the icy streets will finally begin to thaw. For others (like Californians) it means the drought will be sticking around for a while longer. For Rovio, it means “winter is coming.”
From the game developer’s blog, Angry Birds Go! has just received a new episode titled, “Sub Zero,” which also adds eight new carts, daily events, and more rewards. The tracks are covered in snow, making your shiny new cart skid around like, well, like a car skidding on ice.
The Sub Zero update also includes new starter packs that instantly give players a premium soapbox cart for each episode. Plus, start the game off right with bonus coins and gems.
New features in version 1.2.0 include:
- Get ready for a change in the weather in the frosty new Sub Zero episode!
- NEW SNOWY THEME! Winter arrives on Piggy Island and covers the new track in slippery ice. Drive carefully!
- NEW KARTS AND TELEPODS! Mechanic Pig has built 8 new karts, plus check out the new TELEPODS toys!
